Moozart is a musical treat for iPad… with animals!

“What does a pig sound like singing in the key of C?” begins the App Store listing for Moozart, a new iPad music app for children. What indeed.

The app lets you find out. It aims to teach kids simple music principles through the medium of farmyard animals letting rip with their vocal cords.

Moozart has several songs preloaded, but you can also create your own by dragging and dropping the animal icons onto a proper musical staff.

Frogs, ducks, cows… they’re all here, and surprisingly tuneful. Animals and music are great fun in children’s iPad apps separately, but it looks like together, they’re also a winning formula.
