Now they've got an app, developed by Gabuduck – the company whose Miko and Cola app has already been distracting us all afternoon with its musical fun. The app's stars are Miko and Cola, described as "twisted kitties on their misadventures inside their charming and silly little world". 07.26.12PIXEL’D is Disney’s pixel-art animation iOS app for all agesWell this is interesting: a brand new iPhone and iPad app from Disney that lets you create pictures and animations based on its famous characters in glorious pixel-art style. It's called PIXEL'D and it has literally just gone live on the App Store at the time of writing. "Pixel art, 8-bit, sprites…whatever you call it, create it with Disney PIXEL'D," explains the App Store listing. Now the museum has turned it into a beautiful-looking iPad app. The storyline remains the same: a day out at the V&A for Clara, older brother Ollie and their mum. Now there's something new: a creative colouring app from Random House based on The Cat in the Hat. It's called Dr. Seuss's The Cat in the Hat Color & Create! and is based on a US children's TV show called The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!. The company has made its fun Bizzy Bear Builds a House app free, but for one day only. Originally released in June, the iPhone and iPad app sees Bizzy getting stuck in to a digger, crane, bulldozer and cement mixer as he builds a house, with a story aimed at 2-4 year olds, and Nosy Crow's trademark high production values.
