05.02.13Get girly with Crayola ColorStudio HD Barbie Edition for iPadOver the last year, Crayola has put its name to a series of digital colouring apps for kids on iPad. The latest features a familiar face: Barbie. It's called Crayola ColorStudio HD Barbie Edition, and is designed to work with Crayola and Griffin Technology's ColorStudio HD iMarker accessory – a fat pen-shaped gadget to draw on touchscreens – although it doesn't require it. The app contains five colouring books with 30 pictures for kids to colour in using the iMarker or their fingers. 09.07.12Barbie The Princess & The Popstar book-app swishes onto iOSWe're having a bit of a girly day on Apps Playground today, what with Disney Fairies Fashion Boutique and now Barbie The Princess & The Popstar. While the former is a game, the latter is a book-app from Random House Digital. It's based on the latest Barbie DVD of the same name, and offers a mixture of story and music: three songs to sing along to karaoke-style. 11.08.10Barbie’s latest iPad app is just the job for fansThere are a couple of Barbie apps already out for iPhone, focused on fashion. However, her third iOS outing, Barbie I Can Be for iPad, has more of a work focus. Although don't worry: there's still plenty of pink fluffiness for the hardcore doll massive.
