04.02.13Play hide and seek with the Lego Duplo Peekaboo appMany of my interactions with Lego Duplo bricks involve stepping on them by accident and swearing. Happily, neither is part of new iOS app Lego Duplo Peekaboo. Instead, it's described as "a classic hide and seek game" for toddlers aged between 18 months and three years old. The stars: Duplo mascots Giraffe and Rabbit, and their friend Teddy. It's called BrickCase, and it's being sold here in the UK by online retailer Firebox. Coming in a choice of black, blue, pink, red, yellow or white, it doesn't just look like Lego – you can stick actual bricks to it too. 03.04.13Lego Friends get an Ultimate Stickers iPad appLego Friends is Lego's range of minifigure characters aimed more at girls. Now there's an iPad app for them: Lego Friends Ultimate Stickers. Released over the weekend by book publisher DK, it's a counterpart to the more boy-focused Lego Minifigure Ultimate Stickers app that came out last Autumn. 01.03.13Two new Lego games speed onto iPhone and iPadIt's a good start to the year if your children love their bricks'n'Minifigures. Two new Lego games have been released on the App Store: Lego Hero Factory Brain Attack and Lego: Legends of Chima: Speedorz. The first (pictured right) comes from developer Amuzo Games and is based on Lego's Hero Factory sub-brand. The game sees you defending Makuhero City from "an army of evil brains", upgrading your hero with weapons and armour as you go, while enlisting sidekicks Furno, Bulk, Breeze and Rocka. 09.24.12Lego Minifigure Ultimate Stickers (iPad app review)We're relatively new to Lego's Minifigures range of characters, as they tend to be just out of eyesight when our three year-old is excitedly furtling through the toy-car shelf at Sainsbury's for his weekly good-behaviour reward. We like the idea though: series of themed characters, which are eminently collectable, even if they're sadly also eminently standable-on when left lying around the living room by careless (i.e. all) toddlers.
