It's a video of a one-year-old, clearly flummoxed by the fact that print magazine pages aren't touchscreens that let you move things around. Funny, and cute. But also a sign of the times (and a reason why so many companies are making apps aimed at children to cater to the demand).

11.08.10tinyTube makes YouTube safe for kids on iPhone and iPadI'm always a bit suspicious of applications or software that claims to make anything on the internet safe for kids. Do they really work? What are they blocking and who decides? Those kinds of questions. However, at a time when an increasing number of parents are leaving their iPhones or iPads in the hands of kids while doing something else - cooking, driving etc - I can see the appeal in apps that promise a safer experience for children. tinyTube is the latest example.
